Project Philosophy
Once engaged,
EBCO strives to put the considerable resources at hand to assure
that the project delivery is smooth and successful.
Past experience has proven that the best time to get involved
in the delivery process is before design begins.
We start by assessing the Owner’s goals and objectives both
in terms of quality and budget.
In this way, we can provide invaluable preconstruction
services that set the project up for success from the very start.
During the PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE we closely
monitor the design and provide estimates at appropriate intervals to
insure the project meets the Owner’s objectives in terms of cost.
In addition, we identify possible constructability issues and
long-lead time materials so that a construction schedule can be
developed. As the project
design is completed, we finalize the cost estimate and submit the
project to

our ever-owing
list of quality subcontractors for final pricing and Owner approval.
Once the
CONSTRUCTION PHASE begins, our focus shifts to providing the
highest quality project in the safest environment possible within
the constraints of design and budget.
Safety and Health is our primary objective for all of our
employees and subcontractors employed on any of our projects.
Equally important is our commitment to the Safety, Health and
Environmental programs and policies set by our clients.
EBCO employs a
proactive Safety Policy, which identifies and evaluates hazards, and
has developed control methods that prevent accidents. In order to
ensure that we maintain the safest jobsites possible, we perform
regular safety audits, provide training, host mandatory safety
meetings, and create an overall general awareness of the importance
of Safety in the workplace. Finally, we also ensure that our
jobsites are kept up-to-date with OSHA and MSHA standards.
During the
project CLOSE-OUT AND TURNOVER phase, we submit a punch list
of final details to be completed and review it on-site during a walk
through with the Owner and Architect.
Any detail not included is added at that time so that once
completed, we are ready to “hand the keys” over to the Owner.
Although already
being enjoyed by the Owner, our involvement in the project is not
over until the WARRANTY PERIOD is complete.
During this time, our warranty administrator logs all
warranty calls and coordinates any necessary work.
This log will be added to the closeout documents once the
warranty period has ended.
Our goal on every project is to maintain a client whose
expectations have been exceeded during each phase of the delivery
process. Ultimately, our
success as a company depends upon repeat business and customer
referrals.
